Valentown
Museum
June 9, 2007
Equipment used; digital camera, camcorder and digital voice recorder.
Investigators on site; Jennifer and Tim
Time; 9:00pm until 2:30am
Summary;
This was
our first investigation conducted…this was even before we compiled a
name for our group. With limited equipment we proceeded to investigate the
museum with a narrow overview of the building’s history and also a narrow
account of the activity at the time. We learned more in depth about the history
after the investigation.
We captured a couple of pictures that intrigued us at first…until
we analyzed them further and concluded that they were false positives.
Streaks of light in both red and orange were present in a few pictures.
We concluded that these lights were due to the motion blur of reflected
car lights in the windows.
We did have some personal experiences that occurred including
footsteps heard on the stairway leading up to the electric room.
When immediately checked, there was no one in the stairwell.
A phantom smell that was only acknowledged by Tim….and
Jennifer could not detect. The museum’s curator Carol also
confirmed smelling the phantom smell. There were 2 other individuals
present who were not involved in our investigation; however they
were in the room with us when the phantom smell occurred and could
not detect it either. Overall, 3 could not smell it and 2 could.
While sitting in the basement, Tim felt something touch his leg
while he was sitting in a chair.
Although these are documented by TWPG, they are not considered
authentic evidence due to the fact that they can not be proven
or backed up with firm verification.
