Investigators on site: Jennifer and Tim along with family members as guests and observers.
This was a very impromptu investigation that arose suddenly and since we had some gear, we took it. This is a family home…one that all of the children seemed to experience things in.
The claims include:
- Footsteps are heard upstairs when no one is up there
- When in the upstairs bedroom, several people have experienced the sensation of energy running up the spine
- One son saw a woman in a nightgown leaning over his bed when he was sleeping, he thought it to be his mother until she confirmed the fact that she never went to check on him that night. This woman had no facial features
- Many people, even without prior knowledge of the activity in the home, have had severe nightmares the night after a visit there. The nightmares are similar between the people and seem to include the same sort of “characters” for lack of a better term.
The only relevant history of this home in reference to the activity is that a young boy of about ten years of age or so, passed away from a long illness back in the 1970’s right before the family moved in. They are not sure if the boy passed away in the home, they only know for sure that he lived there up until the time of his passing. They wonder if this boy has any connection.
We did experience some things in the short time that we investigated. There was a point where there was a tap on the window, it sounded to everyone like a fingernail tap. There were no trees nearby, and it was a very cold evening, so there were not any bugs outside that could do that. This is left as a mystery to us, as we can not explain it, but at the same time we do not feel comfortable saying it was paranormal either. Here is the audio of this event:
Right before you hear Tim say "tilt it this way...." you will hear a woman say either "secret" or "depress". Not sure which.
Right after Tim asks "Come sit in the chair..." you will hear a voice that says "I don't want it to fall on the floor here". And the interesting part here is that the KII was sitting on the chair that was referenced.
Tim is commenting on a reflection that was cast and we hear a girls' voice say "Is this blood?"
Instrumental Trans-Communication (ITC) using the spirit box:
Before Tim speaks, you will hear a voice say "dusk is..." but it is heard like "DuuuuuuSK is..."
A voice saying "hello" which Jennifer responds to.
A voice clearly says "no"
Here we hear a voice answer "ok" to our statement and then we hear more of a kid-like voice say "hey". The "hey" was not heard at the time, so that was a combination of a voice from the spirit voice and then an EVP from the static recorder.
We get the answer of "sure" twice in this clip.
We caught this one while using the spirit box, but this is actually an EVP caught on the recorder. After Jennifer says "...not convinced, I don't know..." you will hear a childs voice say "there's a weird man".
In this one, there is a clear "hi".
